I love that model and that plane but I must ask - how exactly do u mask the gear BEFORE painting? because i alays glue my gear in AFTER painting. (click my nik to see my planes) and another question if I may - u spray painter right? then how did you make those camo turns - mask-wise?

In your next model, apply water with something on the surface where you want to add a decal, so if you apply it wrong it will be able to moove them. Also, Nice model man!

No Beer as of now! Shame really. I think it would stop one hell of a hangover when we get leave lol.
I believe we have or are getting the F35B. That will what be replaces the GR7-9. I doubt I will be there for though though which is a shame. So much I wanna do but so little time. lol. Do you miss your service days?

@MarcianoMMA LOL, your a Brit, you guys still ahve beer on your ships? You did when I was in, we were in Portsmouth England and the Brit Navy guys told us about it, if they were to give us yanks beer, it would be a mess. You guys gonna get the new F35 JSF?

I work the Harrier GR7-9. I'm wanting to leave in order to join the RAF though. I wouldn't mind working with the EF2000 Typhoon someday.

You painted the bird USAF CAMO, it's a USN bird, notice the launch bar on the nose gear? Tha goes in the launch shuttle on the steam catapult.

Waaay ahead of you, I know EXACTLY what you mean but this was the only paint scheme in this model kit and the only option was to have the gears like that.
