Your work is fantastic! Thoroughly enjoyed your workshop session in Evansville IN recently. But I can't figure out. Do you strum out only or out-in. I wish I could have asked after your session but I had to leave early. Is there a knack to doing that with a "pick that could lift a Volkswagon." Thanks.

Thank you! I use alternate strumming for the most part. To play with a thicker pick, it's necessary to loosen up your grip a bit, which in turn allows you to relax your hand and arm muscles. It's definitely worth doing!
