This is the music that I've loved for over 60 years. This is the wonderful nostalgic sound that I used to listen to at the " all nighter " sessions in the London clubs of the 1960s.. And as for that clarinet solo, Perfect, just perfect. Well done guys ( and gal ) and thanks.

What a great sound. Can't help noting though that there are six playeres in the "Hot Five"?

Janet Shaw's playing is like golden pearls strung on the string of the melody.A simply beautiful piece.Oh,Happy Canada!

The band's title is a notalgic reference to the old Louis Armstrong Hot Five.
The Hot Five Jazzmakers often stage seven players and more often six these days.
