There are good sergeons there but there is risk. Many bad docs as well and many (more than U.S) cases of infection / etc. I had my rhino done for 4K and thought about havnig it done in South Am. Think about the cost. 700 bucks for ticket + another 500+ for hotel / food + 1500ish for good sergeon. You might save a little money but the extra money is worth the convenience of not having to travel while recovering / saved time / possible complications / etc.
Too many variables. A rhinoplasty is a rhinoplasty. The price doesn't depend on what you get done for the most part. Depends on how much the surgery itself costs + the operating room / misc charges. My doc had his own in house operating table so mine was done for 4 grand. Another doc quoted about 7. The range is from 3500-8000 bucks.
Ok I would love to get my nose done but that chisel(SIC) going into the cartilage like that and the nostrils getting stretched open and then the filing of the bridge......It looks so painful!!
of course it looks painful! If I think of the hammering and cutting and pulling out that stuff, I have to think twice about getting my nose done. But I dont like her nose at the end. It could be done better.
I actually had my deviated septum fixed / same type of precedure as the video. Tip lifted and bone sanded. In all honesty it wasn't bad at all. One night of moderate pain and that was it. I had no black eye and was back in school 5 days later and looked 100% normal. Everyone is different but it's not painfull. Most pain was removing the stitches a week later.
