Never Stop
------------------
- Recorded after the poor reception of PORCUPINE and released as a non-album single on 8 July 1983. Also appeared on the compilation album SONGS TO LEARN & SING (15 Nov 1985).

  • Hearing Ian's voice makes me sad. Time does march on for all of us, of course, but I wish he'd smoked a million fewer cigarettes over the past twenty years. Contemporaries like Michael Stipe or Bono still have relatively intact voices, being non-smokers. Note: this isn't an anti-smoking rant. I just miss that crystalline purity of Ian McCulloch from the mid 80s.

  • Thanks for putting this on Kenjames64!, a few days before this gig (14th July 83? ) i saw them at Blackburn King Georges Hall ( supported by the awful Strawberry Switchblade ), they were brilliant, me and my brother missed the last bus home to Rochdale so we walked it back.... what a time..we must have been mental!, cheers!.

  • great gig from the royal albert hall , with orig line up , saw u2 a few times & echo about 15 times , the bunnies were / are in a different league to bono & co

    as for ian's voice it was ok last october in manchester but ,

    time waits for no one ......

    great post .....

    just a brilliant band
