@KRISTAEWATERS Hi, as long as it's a raw food diet ie the food is un-cooked and un-fortified with additives and based around meat-on-the-bone with no fillers then you'll be allright.

@danscott888 Here in Mexico is really expensive feed the dogs with raw meat, sometimes my dog eat chickens, wild rabbits, wild iguanas and he love it =)

@5tonyvvvv People and dogs are all the same to the giants in the food industry, they just get away with lower food standards with dog food because there are no fixed laws around quality-only flouted guidelines!!!

@sonypower159 Hi, it's 12.5 years for commercial fed dogs, this statistic covers all sizes of dog and across the US, UK, Canada, Australia and some european countries. For raw fed dogs the statistic is harder to produce but from my personal data over 5 years it's 15 to 19 years on average ( the record is 28!) belonging to an Aussie cross breed fed raw since a pup.

Dogs have been genetically tested to reveal potential lifespans reaching into the late twenties so commercial dog food kills early.

@SmallPandaBear Hi, you can get cheap off cuts, rough mince/butchers mince/scraps mince and waste from the butchers cheaper than any packet food. Ask locally for freezer burnt roasts, pick up cheap short dated produce or join in with friends to bulk order. It's not to difficult to come up with ways to find what you need cheaply. I feed my 47lb dog for around 70cents a day and he eats like a king. In the long run the health bill is miniscule too by comparison.

Sorry but no bag food recommend.

@danscott888 My friends and neighbors think Im crazy because I give my Dogs Raw meat and vegetables, But My dogs are never sick, have no health problems of any kind, and No plaque on the teeth! I tell people what would a Wolf eat in the Wild. Nothing but Wild meat and some grass! Wild animals dont cook there food and put it in cans! People are so Stupid!!! You are the Best man!!
