Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 Review

A review of Samsung's latest media player with a 5", 800 x 480 display and Android OS 2.3.5 Gingerbread. The Player sells for $269 and it has 8 gigs of storage and a microSD card slot. Think of it as a big screen Galaxy S minus the cell phone. It has WiFi, Bluetooth, a GPS and dual cameras and can make VoIP calls but not cellular calls. It's also available in a 4" model.

why does the sgp5 have a speaker on top of the screen if it cannot make calls ?? how do you use this ??? (im asking because i own one )
