@stormspinner1 Tornados happen regularly as far north as Edmonton Alberta Canada.

@lionsforlyons: the dust devil was actually a couple of days later, totally unrelated. i just thought it was cool :) and it was really calm when i was recording the video, no wind or anything

@stormspinner1 There was a tornado in Upstate New York back in 1998 which was caused by a Jericho that moved through. Also, Brooklyn had a Tornado back in 2007 I think it was. New york has tornados they just cause minor to mild damage. We mostly get microburst, severe storms, and updrafts.

I like how you can see the Wall Cloud right next to the Precip!!!

Nice friggen wall cloud! I just put up a video of a wall cloud just north of Albany on June 22, and saw yours posted. Now we just need some tornadoes!

New York?!?? Would expect this in the Plains, not New York - not a tornado, a tornado is a funnel cloud that makes contact with the ground. Still, an amazing capture - wow
*StormSpinner* in Texas
(who's seen more of these clouds than she'd like to admit LOL)
