@BMessemer the ball loses speed after it bounces
-
this is pressure
-
my brother is friends with his coach; it is a modified eastern grip
-
@adamantiaf1 first of all, take it easy. Second of all, I'm a USPTR Professional, and High Performance Professional, and I know that's a semi-western grip. Granted, it's close to western, but not close enough.
-
@tvp900 you fucking morons are both incorrect. It's a full western grip.

i believe i can fly... i believe i can touch the sky

I like the way he pulls his lead elbow back into his side. He's a really good server, so he knows how much extra torque it gives on the rotation. Some people hardly use their lead arm to help in the rotation and support. It takes total body mechanics to produce maximum power.

@andyfan69201 i didn't say i could beat him.....

@Morlich209 No not ugly at all... he has been number 1 in the world, won a grand slam, and has millions of a dollars and a hot wife. His fundamentals are near perfect on every shot. He would beat you 6-0 every time hitting only forehands and 2nd serves. Although, he does push his forehand way too much and it is so frustrating. Look at his 2003/2004 matches against fed he crushed his forehand.
continental? No way. It's semi-western like most pros

I wonder what the speed of that forehand was. I counted 17 seconds that the opponent's ball was approaching, and after contact the ball left the frame in under two seconds. That means the speed of the ball off andy's racket was more than 8 times the speed of the ball as it approached him! Granted, the approaching ball may have been a lousy ball, but still, Rodick definitely unleashed some speed on that forehand.
