Yeah if you are talking about training together and not trying to kill eachother that should be comon sense. . If you are a good school your students will take care of each other this is a must. we never go 100 %, we all have to work the next day. I soar with my students uauly on their level then below thier level and also above thier level and I take hits to get them better. But we are not Tribal.

Gurojon, Good point. I use the term tribal for several reasons. The first of which is that many of the arts I teach are from the Phillipines and Indonesia. Many of these arts are tribal (only taught within the tribe) or familial. For this reason, I use the analogy of "the tribe" since it seems to fit well within the American frame of experience. Do you disagree?
