LOS ANGELES IRISH SET DANCERS "Straw Dudes" at Irish Wedding

The Los Angeles Irish Set Dancers became the "Los Angeles Straw Dudes" at the wedding of one of our dancers, Theresa Savage of Alhambra, California and Padraig Timmons of Dublin, Ireland. The couple met at the Willie Clancy Music and Dance Festival in Miltown Malbay in July 2002. The wedding reception was held at Tattersalls Country House, Ratoath, County Meath, Ireland. Music for dancing was provided by the amazing TULLA CEILI BAND. (Saturday, July 28th, 2007). The "Straw Boys" is an old Irish tradition at weddings.
