We are watching the Gog Magog War develope NOW, Read Ezekiel 38-39, America will also be attacked. This war begins Tribulation, Isreal will bury their enemies for 7 months, and their weapons for the next 7 years. God pinned 1948 over 2,000 years ago, and said the generation that see's Isreal become a nation again, is the Last One. Read Revelations, you are there NOW. Without Christ, no survival. Current Peace plan, "when they say Peace and Safety, Sudden destruction will come upon them."

But than God fight for us and it takes not a long time.

I believe behind every nation is a demon, like Daniel talked about the "prince" = demon of Persia.

Dan 10:13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

the same "prince" is now behind Iran

@akkafietje There are TWO battles. One in Ezekiel 38-39 is for Plunder. Russia, Iran and others march on Isreal. God intervenes and Israel burys the dead for the next 7 years of Tribulation. The Final battle, God magog, is against Christ Himself, and nothing to do with Plunder. The Ezekiel war begins Tribulation, the final war ends with Christ ruling the earth. Two distinct wars, Two distinct reasons, Two distinct outcomes. Israel will NOT burn weapons in the millinium of Christ

@luettem Agree, but it's the Armageddon battle. It will happen after the great tribulation, that means 7 years after the rapture.

It will start at a moment that Israel lives in "peace", according Ezec 38:8

Because at this moment it is no peace at all in the middle east.

Zec 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

@akkafietje Psalms 83 war. All the surrounding nations attack Israel, God wipes them out. Israel expands.....in safety. Israel is the size of New Jersey. It is like the entire US attacking NJ for Russia to attack Israel. WHY would they decide they 'Need' more help? Because Israel beat the bejeebers out of all the surrounding countries. You can see this building now. To imagine a huge country like Russia needing 'help' seems ridiculous, until you read Psalms 83 and God steps in

if the beast brought "peace" ! Ez 38:8....and they shall dwell safely all of them.

To day Israel doesn't live safety at all, daily missile attacks and suicide rs around etc.

That means Eze 38/39 is not applicable today, but over at least 7 years.

My question was : if this scenario is already determined by God, what can "we" do ?

How did you "calculate" 1948 ?

@keggs1961 god foretold the exact year Israel would become a nation again over 2,000 years ago. He then states, the generation that sees this occur is the last one before Tribulation. One generation is 70 years in Psalms. God said He would tell the end from the beginning so you would know He is God...He did. There is no question Who holds the reigns, and there is no question as to what time it is. Take care.

@luettem Very interesting points you make. I have always thought about... Whether we were seeing the Bible unfold in front of eyes or is a group of people using the Bible as a play book? Either way it is happening before our very eyes. What a great time in history to be alive!

@akkafietje In Ezekiel 38-39, Iran marches with Russia and others against Israel. What is happening now could work into Ezekiel, but I dont believe anyone will destroy Iran before Ezekiel is fulfilled. They seem to be quite able to accompany Russia in that prophecy.
