This is an awesome rendition, there's nae other that can touch this....RIP Gordon, pure legend, absolute piping genius oan this number.

Sheer genius! I think the pipe version is even better than that of the guitar.
I had the opportunity to get to know Gordon Duncan when he came down to London to give the piping society a recital, and I drove him back to his hotel afterwards. What a great guy!

this is some very complicated and awesome finger work to be sure, but sad this rendition of Thunderstruck has been so over played that it has become cliche and few pipers even like it anymore. I can hardly stand to listen to it, especially since Gordon died.
