Movie Review:
http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/adventuresmarktwain.php

True to its title, The Adventures of Mark Twain really is more about Twain than the kids who come along on the trip. This might seem puzzling for first time viewers of the film. Your instinct—indeed the instinct of most studio executives as well—should be to make Twain a wise mentor and focus attention on Tom, Huck, and Becky. After all, the story begins with them, as they stow away on Twain's gadget-laden dirigible for a trip to the famous comet. Narratively, Twain should be there simply to offer stories with handy lessons, so that the children can prove themselves and work through character arcs that show their growing maturity. At least, that's the way studio execs would write this.

  • *hand of God touches Adam's shoulder* "ADAM! IT'S 4 U." *Adam holds banana up 2 ear* "hello?" i luv that part. lol :)

  • I had no clue what I was watching and I enjoyed it to no end, excellent upload, excellent quality, thank you..! Google now to see if he's done anything else I don't know about...!

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARK TWAIN, 127 TODAY (doesnt look a day over 117 does he!) heres to you!

  • @D0S81 He directed his first short film in 1974 "Closed Mondays" which went on to win an Academy Award. Since then he has worked on many animated films as both director and producer (mostly claymation films). Too many films to mention so I would suggest a look at IMDB or Wikipedia, he also has his own website with a couple of interesting articles.

  • i just rembered this is done by the same guy that done, the california raisins, i remember those adverts and music vids from when i was a kid, i hope he did other stuff.

  • @NINA1542009 has he made any other movies? i really like the style of this, the attention to detail in the lip sync, and the facial expressions is really good, i like ardmans work (wallace and grommit) but as an artist, theres just something about the style of this that i seem to prefer.

  • @nanciqwerty why though, i dont think someone would intentionally watch something they knew nothing about beforehand, if someone watches this & then says ''this sucked, i just wasted so n so minutes watching this kak, you could have told me what it was about in the description'' then more fool them for not looking it up first hand. I'm not having a go at YOU, so please dont think im being nasty, i just find it hard to believe that someone would blindly watch something without knowing what it is.

  • Thank you. Will Vinton's work is inspirational.

  • thank you this is pure gold

  • No description available. WTF?

You need to give people a reason to consider spending 1-2 hours of their life watching these films.
