its a first year expansion team where guys who maybe practiced together a couple of times played a preason game. And to answer your question yes I have. Every year the MLS allstars play top level teams who get spanked cause they don't take it seriously.

and what ?? preseason game is an excuse for playing such a terrible way ?? I don't mean to play world class football but only to know the simple things. Have you ever seen in any country when a team plays a friendly preseason game to play such a way ?? Preseason games is bullshit excuses. When you play soccer, you play soccer, that's a rule. You dude !!

A sloppy game on a frigid night. Quakes showed well against the champs, who kept their top players in well into the 2nd half. For SJ only one goal allowed in both friendlies against a usually potent offense. Defense first is the current battle cry. Now let's score some goals.
It was good seeing Dom and the boys, but they still look ridiculous in orange. Quakes Blue!

I shot this using a handheld consumer miniDV camcorder and edited with a Mac G4 using FCP3. Old school! I have better gear, including a tripod, but didn't want to schlep it to SF. I'm working on various compression settings to improve the quality of the image.
