Gone are the days of the 19 button VS Tank transmitter, the new transmitter has finally arrived. Great news for VS tank owners is that it is backwards compatible for VS tanks which used the previous transmitter! I have tested it on several of my other VS tanks :-)
It works fantastic. Good job VsTank...now the next step is to make the tank sound like a tank. VsTank fans have never been happy with a sound which is about as pleasing to the ear as chalk on a blackboard. In fact many have disconnected or muffled the sound to get some relief from high pitched shrill noise.

  • WOW now what about a new tank.

  • @deleonfrancis60 The VsTank Königstiger (King Tiger) is said to be scheduled for release later this year.

It has been said that future VsTanks will have 2.4 ghz transmitter/receivers & that it is planned to make new VsTanks actually sound like tanks. Apparently after a number of years somebody at VsTank finally realized that tanks don't actually sound anything like electric kitchen appliances.

  • The new transmitter (remote control) with the two sticks is more 'user friendly' for newbies than previous remote.

The tank still has the three forward and two reverse speeds. It is proportional only in that as you move the sticks it will transition from one speed to the next. It makes the transition smoother than with the old transmitter.

Some people run these tanks on dirt, concrete & grass with the standard hard tracks.

Hard use = more replacement parts.

    Pricing? Check the internet

  • Thanks for the transmitter review. My son wants one for his birthday and he really wants the stick controller. I'm glad to see that it's an improvement over the previous design.

Hi, I own the same tank but with the button type remote control,in my opinion the Tiger1 tracks are hard plastic links and the link connections are clip lock type. So if you wanna play on dirt, concrete &grass I suggest to look for other Vstank model with hard plastic tracks of which each link connection is couple pin type, now there are King tiger,Sherman on the line. Make sure to buy the tanks with the hard plastic tracks pin connections.

  • WOW what about a new tank.

  • Hello, I beleive that many rc.tankers love to run these tanks on dirt,grass...etc.

Well because it has a lot of fun and the hard plastic tracks look more realistic than the rubber ones.

ps. I 've been informed by VsTankpro distributor that metallic tracks are on production process. They will release them soon.

  • Do you recommend this tank for a newbie? Are the forward & reverse speeds proportional? Are the treads okay to run on dirt, concrete & grass? Will I need to buy replacements? Where can I find the best price on these tanks?
