Since when does a Storm Trooper have a lightsaber?

That particular figure is based on McQuarie'd concept design and a trooper has a saber and a shield.

storm troopers never have lightsabers the have a staff whit a lightning on top kinda not a ligthsaber not sure whats its named and yes they have a sheild
