I'm watching every episode of American Idol so far! I think this year will be interesting, but you're right, Taylor Hicks winning did kind of destroy the glow. I kinda like having Kara as a fourth judge, and she's honest, but not as brutally honest as Simon (who's my favorite, by the way). Paula's too nice, and Randy's lost in his own other world.

I kinda liked Joanna Pacitti, but then again, she had already released an album that flopped pre-Idol.

hahaha, the only judge who gives valid criticisms is Simon. Love that guy! Yes, he's brutally honest at times, but at least he's telling the truth. Randy and Paula are useless, I totally agree with you, as is the new judge, IMO. Ryan is the worst of all . . . I wish someone would seriously tell him to his face that he is NOT FUNNY b/c you're right, he thinks he is so clever and comical.

As for the contestants this season, Adam Lambert is BY FAR my favorite! I really hope he wins it all!!
