I was just a boy when I saw "Blow Out" but I never forget this movie, and the great music by Pino Donaggio, the italian maestro. So sweet and evocative.

@hemorrhoidprime actually, that interview has been misqouted for a long time. Tarantino's favourite movie film is the good, the bad and the ugly. Then rio bravo, taxi driver and this one (their position is interchangeable, as he says it)

Yeah in an old interview with De Palma, Tarantino said his three favorite films are Rio Bravo, Taxi Driver and Blow Out. I think that's probably changed but I know Blow Out is still a favorite of his.

This snippet of music was borrowed and used in Tarantino's DEATH PROOF. Seems BLOW OUT is one of QT's favourites.
Good choice. An excellent film. Probably the most underrated of the '80s.

I love this movie!!!
The final scene when Jack is at the recording studio hearing Sally's screaming is just incredible.
