  • It's an adaptation of a tune called Aragon Mill which is a real place in Georgia that had a mill shut down in the '70s. It was written by a guy named Si Kahn. The instrumental they play between verses is Miss McCleod's Reel or Hop High Ladies depending on which end of the country you're in.

  • lovely stuff

  • Great harmony. Great music.

  • DONT KNOW WHERE I HEARD THIS SONG, LOVE THIS VERSION

  • LOVE THIS SONG SOO MUCH IT'S TOTALLY AWESOME :) <3 MY MOM BOUGHT ME TICKETS TO SEE THEM SOON <3 LOVE YOU MOM SOO EXCITED CANT EVEN SLEEP :)

  • @zakmoran1 No definitely not. Youtube has messed with a lot of my older videos, and caused there to be a lag in the video but not the audio, resulting in out-of-synch vids.

  • went to see these guys bout a month ago and they played it slow, really really loved it

  • played 2 fast

  • Great music, but cornwall is right in my opinion, this is to up-beat for a sad situation,

    listen to Finbar furey,s version.

The melody should compliment and empathize the feeling of the song.

  • The instrumentation's great, but the lyrics are melancholy--they try to pep it up too much.
