I just blended 2 leaves of aloe with 2 table spoons of olive oil, and put it in a shampoo bottle. I have not kept it refrigerated, how long will it last until it goes bad?

Now I cut off an aloe leaf and tasted it and that shit was horrible!!! It didnt taste anything like it does in the bottle.

yeah lol it is the yellow liquid that makes it taste horrible lol. they remove that part when they bottle the aloe juice and gel pack for you, you can counter the taste with honey or sugar. lol

can this gel be used directly on face & hair?what other ways can i preserve it?
thanks

Yes it can be used on the hair like a normal gel when blended a little. I don't know about the face...
Besides keeping it in a dark bottle with either citric acid or lemon juice, your only other option is chemical preservatives.

@lamya83 u can use the aloe vera plant and apply it to the face. u can apply it as a mask at night and in the morning ur skin will feel awesome.
it also helps with acne a lot, sunburns, redness, cuts. aloe cures a lot of things, people just dont know its affectivenes.

@GustavoMorenoo Thank for the face info. I have never had to use it on my face lol. I use it on my cuts and burns...lots of burns...I am really clumsy around the stove. I will try it as a mask, that should be fun lol
