John McCain's campaign was one of the worst campaigns in the political history. His old school concept of honor lamed his campaign against all image no substance campaign strategy of the Obama camp. It was a big mistake to cut off his ardent supporters at the leg. However, the worst mistake was to fail to protect Godsend: Sarah Palin. Her authentic image and McCain's experience was the most effective antidote to Obama's fabricated image with no substance. They dropped the ball and it shattered.
