How about the Russians did alot to win the war, after all they killed 93% of the servicemen German armed forces.
The B-17 guys killed 3 million German civilians and did very little to hamper Germans war effort since the German war effort peaked in 1944, during the most intense Alllied Bombings, actually, no the 'B-17 guys' did little to win the war.

@DEP717: Indeed. The various gunners positioned about the plane were "sitting ducks". They were always the first ones to buy it. Being a gunner on a bomber was suicidal.

Yes they did, those B-17 guys did a lot to win the war. Especially before they got the P-51 escort all the way in and they were going in with just their own guns to hold off the fighters.
