@November10th1775USMC My friend, Its not my patriotism that has brought me to these conclusions, it was the absolute air superiority we had over the Germans and a military industry that was totally unharmed. Im not saying that the invasion of Russia was not a catastrophic event for the German military, but it was the russian winter that devastated the German invasion. The movement of industrial manufacture from the west of the USSR to the east, was only just beginning when Germany invaded.

@particle58 We had 2 nuclear weapons at the end of the war that we know of, and that was after Germany surrendered. The Soviet Union to had an untouched undamaged Military Industrial Complex as it was mostly in Siberia. You obviously have no Idea of the size of the Red Army at the time, there wasn't a man that was fighting, young or old. 3/4 German soldiers were stationed on the Eastern Front. Your patriotism is so strong that you are denying simple historical facts..

@November10th1775USMC We had nukes, no one else did. We had an intact air corps with hundreds of thousands of pounds of ordinance still in our arsenal. We had an untouched, undamaged manufacturing industry pushing out planes, tanks, guns, bullets, bombs, etc. We had 15 million enlisted men. Without Russia we would have been just fine.

@1949man Listen buddy, You can't even spell "Russians", I don't think your any Military Strategist. Patton only had an Army, out of multiple Allied Army Groups in Europe, He couldn't of made that big of a difference. Germany would of never been defeated with out the Russians, A lowball number of Soviet MILITARY deaths from World War 2 is 8.8 Million. The United States, 416,800. 3/4 of German troops were on the Eastern Front. The United States and Britain should not be taking credit for that war.

@SMGJohn-- If the Russioans hadn't "helped" us, I'm sure Patton would've gotten it done by himself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@SMGJohn How am I raging? Were the fuck are you getting this from? And "Kid" I didn't college grads were called kids.
Sir, you make no sense.
This commercial is the most heart wrenching I've seen. I think of my brother Steven...USMC 1978-1982, Iron Worker and hero of 9/11, passed away in 2004.
