This rather febrile performance of the song "Where have All the Flowers Gone?", composed by Pete Seeger and first sung by the inimitable Marlene Dietrich in 1960, is delivered despite the hot flashes that Virraj Sorhvi suffers from every evening owing to the staphylococcal (MRSA) bone infection that manages to bring them about with clockwork regularity... The clip (which was recorded by Virraj acting as his own cameraman) is a corollary to Virraj's main Marlene Dietrich tribute to be seen on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKhieCZQ0jQ

♦ Virraj has been hospitalized continuously since 4 July 2005; he had undergone treatment (mostly by medical neglect) at this particular institution between 17 October 2007 and 28 May 2008. For the latest info, visit http://www.flickr.com/photos/virraj

♦ video location: Bed № 4112, Wing A, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Sarita Vihar, Delhi-Mathura Road (National Highway № 2), New Delhi, India
♦ video date: Saturday, 10 May 2008 (19:51:00 IST | 14:21:00 GMT) — 1042nd day of Virraj's hospitalization overall (207th day at Apollo)

  • Now I would like to hear your best Marilyn Monroe impersonation.

  • which SONG would you have in mind??? since Ed Sullivan described Monroe's performance of the song "Heat Wave" as "one of the most flagrant violations of good taste", I am at a loss what to choose...

  • How about Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend? Or you could always do her rendition of Happy Birthday, lol
