There are so many reasons to admire Syleena Johnson, from her amazing family background (dad Syl Johnson scored hits in the '60s, mom Brenda Thompson was America's first black female police commissioner) to the fact that the refrain she sings on Kanye's "All Falls Down" is arguably the best part of the song. But mainly we're just in love with her raspy, powerful voice (okay, and her hairstyle, too). Johnson came by the TONY office to sing two songs from her new album, Chapter 5: Underrated. She then followed it up with this delicious snippet of "All Falls Down." http://tmout.us/o2utcU

I'm almost certain that's Lauryn Hill's song. Kanye just took it and recorded it with Syleena. Google Lauryn Hill Mystery of Iniquity, She does a great job.
