Welcome to Animal Crossing the live game that's happening every minute of every day whether your playing or not. Rated E for everyone.

Jeff: A sheep moved into the village today.
Rob: Sweet!
Kelli: Why am I the only one organizing the treasure hunts, maybe I'd like to sit around blasting techno music all day. *sarcasm*
Rob: Trade you some wallpaper for your UFO.
Jeff: You think I'm a chump?! Try the Racoon.

Kelli: A walrus moved into the village today.
Leslie: Hot!
Rob: I've just been fishing, you know, seeing some pals.
Kelli: All Rob does is Fish and see his pals. I'm the one getting the job tending the... *awkward silence as Rob shows up*
Jeff: Hey! It's called a lawn mower, other people have to live here to ya know! *shouting from another yard at Rob*

Leslie: Nobody wants to trade insects with me, no matter how many notes I leave them.
Kelli: Why am I always the one cleaning the house and picking the peaches, where's my big fat hammock time.
Rob: So tense! *massages Kelli's Shoulder* So do you want to swap fossils with me later or...

Leslie: Today I was like, "Let's redecorate the house."
Jeff: and I was like, "Maybe we should buy some furniture first."
Leslie: Nice Outfit, where'd you get it, at garbage dump?
Kelli: uh... yeah!
Rob: Winter's coming soon, should I make pants for that?

Animal Crossing, known as Dōbutsu no Mori (どうぶつの森, lit. Animal Forest?) in Japan, is a life simulation video game developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo. It was first released in Japan for the Nintendo 64 on April 14, 2001. Due to limited sales because of the drastically decreasing N64 market, the game went unreleased for the N64 outside of Japan and was ported to the Nintendo GameCube in Japan on December 14, 2001; North America on September 15, 2002; Australia on October 17, 2003; and Europe on September 24, 2004. The Japanese GameCube version lacks e-Reader support, a feature found in the North American and Australian versions. A version of Animal Crossing was released in Japan with e-Reader support on June 27, 2003.

A Nintendo DS follow-up, Animal Crossing: Wild World, was released in December 2005. Nintendo has announced Animal Crossing: City Folk for the Wii at Nintendo's E3 2008 press conference and it will be released on November 16, 2008.

  • wait.. how can u have 4 players wen theres only 2 sockets 4 the game cards??

  • @fiona29054 For the Gamecube, and Nintendo Wii, there are 4 controller sockets to plug into... However, Animal Crossing is a single player game as only one character can be active at one time. It's 1-4 players alternating which means you take turns. I'm not sure about wifi or online connectivity for the DS or Wii versions though.

  • Also, for the memory card slots, you can travel from one town to another with the train if you have a second memory card plugged into slot 2 and back to your own. Again, there can only be one player at a time on screen so you must alternate between your friends. I'm not certain about how many players can connect to a town on DS or Wii...

  • wow great animal crossing commercial did it ever go on t.v cause i be watching it all the time

  • @missgamecom All four of these commercials have aired on television several years ago when the first Animal Crossing game was coming out and during a few months while it was out.
