MTV's TRL (Total Request Live) celebrates it's finale with a 10 year run. It's the end of an era in Times Square and TV Guide is behind the scenes with the rockers and rappers at the party.

Anyone know where I can watch the last episode of TRL? They should put out all of the episodes on a dvd :/

TRL ruined mtv. they saw how much girls went ape shit for boy bands and they started marketing everything towards them after that. the beginning of the end.

Atleast MTV asia is still playing music videos, too bad our very own MTV Philippines has been closed because of that stupid K-POP music show called MYX.

@Jeffrizel1986 You HIT it right on the head, Jeffrizel1986. The Internet (Dailymotion, MySpace, Facebook) and YouTube are the reasons MTV does NOT play videos anymore. REPLY BACK because I agree with what you have said.

Times Square just isn't the same without hundreds of screaming teenagers at 3PM.
Crazy that MTV would just dump TRL though. It was the cornerstone of the network at its peak and toward the end it ended up being one of the only real music shows the network had left. What's worse is that they didn't replace with anything but repeats of their crappy reality shows!

Who the fuck is the CEO making all of these stupid ass calls? Eminem needs to kill his ass and take over MTV and bring it back to what it once was. Who the fuck even watches the shit that's on there anymore?
