This was very difficult to record this mock-up by myself, lol. However, I think this concerto works perfectly on Viola! Enjoy!

  • what tempo and how many beats per measure. i'm doing this with a viola quartet and i'm viola 3. so i have the first solo

  • @TheOtherDescendant I actually took it a little faster than 105 BPM so I could hear all the harmonies and suspensions. If it's too fast, you won't get a nice sound. This is a viola after all lol. Hope this helps.

  • Stefan, the background is the problem with this recording. It is too soft and "muddy", whereas the violas are very bright and full of movement. The continuo should be be very detached in order to propel the 4 principals forward. Your sound is beautiful. BRIAN

  • @redbrian3655 such is the world of samples :( Maybe I need to find a patron to pay for recording fees ;)
