My latest creation. I loved doing this one. Third of my sound painting series. Oil paint on a 50"x40" canvas with an original edited "sound environment". Read on if you're interested in any additional details:

Zepp is the name of my car, which is the gray Oldsmobile parked outside the diner.
Also parked outside is a black '67 Impala.
The sleeping man is Dean. The one at the door is Sam. The waitress sketching Dean is my self-portrait. The other waitress is my sister. The rest of the story is up to you.

Song on the radio: "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin
Note above the phone: "I don't care what kind of day you're havin, answer the phone POLITELY! --MSB"
Dean's map is of Arizona, where he's circled and crossed off various towns.

Thanks for watching guys! Prints of this painting are available for sale in different sizes, as is the orignal for $2,000 if you have some spare coin laying around. You can visit my website at http://skylineartstudio.com for more info.

Done. Onto the next one....

  • This is AWESOME. I hope that one day I'll be able to paint like you. When did you start painting?

  • @AmarilloShine Aw thank you so much! Just keep working at it! And I started when I was three actually, so I;ve been painting for 22 years. :)

  • I would love to buy some artwork from you. It's amazing. How much are your SPN pieces?

  • @Alexa5555 Thank you so much! And it depends on which ones you're interested in. This one is a very large piece in oil, so the original costs $1,700. But I have other smaller SPN oil paintings that cost $700. I also sell canvas prints of the originals for WAY less, as well as prints of my SPN digital paintings. Feel free to visit my site at skylineartstudio(dot)com if you're interested in more.
