Thanks so much for putting all of this wonderful work here for us to enjoy, Ken. I'm still turning new people on to you, and this makes it all the easier! xoxox

ken, back in 1969 thru 71 my brother and I DJd overnight for a jazz station in the Dallas/ Ft Worth TX market. Colors was one of our favorites. We'd play at least two cuts every night. The phone response was always fantastic. Herbie Mann, Jimmy Smith and Ken Nordine. Very cool for 1970.

When I was about 17, a friend and I were experimenting with a well-known hallucinogen. My Father, aware of our condition, played Word Jazz for us. It was fantastic! My friend and I still talk about that day from time to time. Thanks Ken!

Awesome!! Orson Welles with John Coltrane even couldn't have phrased it any better!!

Unique, enchanting, unforgettable... is this available on a CD? Likewise 'Think A Thought' and 'Maybe The Moment'...?

Thank you Ken for making your introspects available for us all. My mother used to play your albums for me as bedtime music when I was a child. Great memories, good times. Live long my friend, live long.

@tampatek Got my old self to 90, feel like 12, guess I'm kidding myself, but long life is mostly the luck of the draw and staying involved with what you love doing.
Thanks for our comment.

Amazon has a dvd I did called 'The Eye is Never Filled' that includes a few of Shaky's brilliant words. Thanks for finding me.

Hamlet as a brooding, but still very cool, cat. The pain and the words come to clear life.
