Haha, I found this on accident. My band's name is Good Morning Captain. Look us up on Facebook, pretty cool stuff.

@TIPTON340 "Trader Eli" is Eli Wallach (a Broadway titan who's probably best known as the unattractive third of "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly"), not Red Buttons. Wallach had a recurring role on Captain Kangaroo in the 70s, as a guy who collected things other people threw away, and found new uses for them.

I like how this theme used a portion of the original one (Puffin' Billy).

"Let me in," the voice cried softly, from outside the wooden door.

@lionsgate12345 I'm right there with you.
I miss the 70s. Wonderful time to be a kid. Quality programming with good folks kids could look up to.

I worked at a state institution for the developmentally disabled in the 70s, and we had a young autistic boy on the dorm where I worked. He was usually in his own little world, but when Capt. Kangaroo came on and they played this them song, he would watch the TV and get the biggest smile on his face. Very nice to hear this again and think of the joy on that boy's face.
