Ferocious House Fire Attacked By Gary Indiana Firefighters

Crews were dispatched to a report of a vacant house fire in the 1200 block of Fayette. On arrival the front door was found open and fire was visible blowing through a bedroom window. Multiple lines were pulled and firefighters made an interior/exterior attack. The fire was brought under control within an hour. One firefighter suffered minor injuries at the scene.

From the looks of this department, I'd say that they are a dam good department.. I just don't care for the guys actions at 2:37-40.. What was he thinking by going inside without a pack on and then coming back out??

First of all mski349 this is Gary IN we are talking about. The resident probably could afford their $200 a month house payment so they torched the place instead. But before doing so they most likely clogged every plug on the block that wasn't already clogged. From what I can see GFD already exhausted too many resources by even sending one engine on scene. I would have sent single man unit just to make sure it did not spread anywhere. To sum it up, it's Gary let it burn.
