@VOXS2 I believe styles of clothing are becoming less defined as time goes on. What will this past decade be remembered for? Skinny jeans perhaps. I don't know what else. The 90s are remembered for grunge and super baggy clothing. i'm glad that decade is over.

@VOXS2 i would say that the way people dress in 2012 is definitely not the same as they did in 2000. i believe clothing has become slimmer over this period of time for both men and women. it's hard to pinpoint lengths or exact years, but it seems that the styles from the end of one decade usually carry over into the beginning of the next decade. I would say the middle part of decades is when new directions start taking shape. For example, skinny jeans became popular for guys in the mid 2000's.

@VOXS2 yes, a new wave of music was starting to hit in the early 80s, particularly from artists in the UK. but the sounds and styles of the late 70s were still pretty prevalent through the early 80s.

@sktL92 Perhaps been said that... in 2012 we may look the way we used to dress too of the early 2000s perhaps.. Perhaps we might not see the differents yet. But wait 20 years from now and look at the year 2012 and tell me what 2012 fashion looked like... new or classic that looked something like 2000 perhaps.

@sktL92 Tell me... do you think the way people dress today in 2012 is the same as it was the year 2000 or the 90s? try and compare and tell me the lenth between years. Course now im starting to see that the early 80s clothes where alittle classic back then.. I didnt see the so what (classic looks) when i told myself the very same this question in 1999. But today as the time goes by slowly you see why early 90s starting to look alittle like the late 80s looks.

@sktL92 Very interesting.. Well im facinated that if that was the case the early 80s was something like still of the late 70s in fashion clothes. But i do know that the rythem of a music beat sort of sounded more modern at some stage in 1977. Just because most famours singers had the old classic rythem like this... you know there was other songs by other bands that sounded more like electro techno sort of to speak allready in 1977... and most sounded like technology of a 1982 or 83 thing
