Oooooh!!!!! Thanks for that message ThePaulUK1. Perhaps we at the IAB, having got access to this information, might be able to spamvertise some sort of top lip depilatory cream at your chip shop lady and spamvertise a bit of baldy bloke hair growth stuff for yourself along with some growth injections for your wife. Really good to have profiled you and discovered the things you need.

I go into a fish and chip shop regularly, the lady who knows I have 1 special and 1 fish no skin on. A really old, lovely lady called Sue, with whiskers... I'm not a huge fan of gossip, she might natter with friends about the tall bald guy and his little wife who have these specific fish requests. She doesn't know my name but I don't expect detail about me to be shared with other shops, nor my health insurance provider! I want the CHOICE to opt IN to info about me being shared. IAB u r wrong.

Good the way 'Bill and Ben the Stupid Men' show how someone looking to buy a car can find the information themselves. They need another comedy duo to snoop on them and spam their internet experience? Three pillars. Choice, rubbish. Notice, rubbish. Education!? Naturally people need to be educated in order for them to make big profits. Hey guys. Twelve steps up the evolutionary ladder you will find tapeworms. You seem to be intent on moving down to threadworm status. You are there already!

Really great video that explains behavioural advertising in an interesting and easy to understand way. Another valuable educational tool from the IAB.

Nick - when I get worried is when after patronising the Dog and Duck and buying a beer and G&T, I go to a hotel 100 miles away for my anniversary, and the barman THERE greets me with an already poured beer and G&T. And that happens on the internet every single day of my life - targeting and tracking without prior explicit informed consent. Time for that to change.
Get my consent FIRST, It's called optIN. Why are you guys fighting optIN so hard? - it gives the maximum consumer choice. Scared?
