I'm in a Prince Nico mood. That's all there is to it.

Nico Mbarga was the son of a Nigerian mother and a Cameroonian father and grew with the musical traditions of both cultures. With this upbringing, along with his own God given gift, Mbarga created a unique hybrid of Ibo and Zairean music.

His song "Sweet Mother" became so popular that even a Yankee like me living in North America heard it. With his untimely passing a lot of people are looking back and realizing how wonderful Mbarga's music was. His songs were always upfull and filled with life.
