Wind is an infinite green energy resource currently capable of powering 2.5 million American homes (10,000 megawatts). Research by the National Wind Technology Center (NWTC) —funded by the U.S. Department of Energy Technologies Program— has led to the creation of both land- and offshore- cost-efficient, multi-megawatt wind turbines that are whipping up fierce competition for conventional energy sources. The NWTC also works alongside industry to develop quieter, smaller turbines with increased efficiency for distributed applications.
Excellent! I like it; hope to work in this industry....am currently working as a service tech for rechargeable batteries.
