Jade Doheny in the North Carolina Dance Theatre School of Dance 2010 Spring Showcase

5-year-old Jade Doheny danced with her pre-ballet class in the 2010 Spring Showcase Performance. The performance was the very first at the Studio Theatre of the brand new Patricia McBride and Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux Center for Dance, the new home of the North Carolina Dance Theatre, in uptown Charlotte. This is Jade's second year studying dance at the NCDT School of Dance, the only dance school in North Carolina affiliated with a nationally recognized professional dance company. Her teacher at the school is Gretchen Jax (pictured with Jade at the very end of this video.)
(FYI, Jade is the second child who enters the Studio Theatre. She is wearing a sheer pink bun cover and is the only Asian child in the class.)
