I think he really did not get enough screen time, his power is really quite a fascinating power. I hope they bring him back in the next movie, because in the comics there really was no definite way to kill Darwin.

Last two X-Men movies have a black actor as a mutant getting killed half way thru the film. Don't understand the point of placing black actors in comic movies just to kill them off. Use all white actors! If I was the black actor, I wouldn't play the part. Why no Static Shock movie? We know the answer to that! If Static Shock was a white character the movie would have been out by now. It's not all that serious but, that is the main reason most blacks don't watch comic movies.

@JonnEarl Its not easy for black actors to find work in Hollywood so they play bullshit roles. Non white actors have it harder than white actors. Comic book movies are no exception to this but I just hope more black people would own their studio and make the rules just like white people have done in Hollywood. I would like to see a movie similar to star wars but made by black people. Honestly I would love to see black people expand from just Church movies because there is more to black people.

@JonnEarl this is problematic cos there is always ONE black person in the comic. and he got killed first. I was gutted.I think they can't bring him back because he turned into metal then this lightning bolt shattered him. I can't see how they'd bring back ashes to life especially when the character is black.And I hated how they stiled him.he looked too mid 1975 as opposed to mid 60s. that was fail.

I hate they had Darwin "killed" off. They need to bring him back in the sequel - there's going to be one, the movie made over $300, 000, 000. Even if it's as him being a being of pure energy like in the comics, they need to bring him back. Angel going dark side already pissed me off, but Darwin "dying" when there's no real way to kill him tipped the scale.

Besides, it's not easy to kill him, just a little difficult for him to adapt.
