Jon Tschiggfrie plays the Morecraft steam calliope on the steam barge ANNA MARIE. Recorded September 18, 2010 in Marietta, OH during the annual meeting of the Sons & Daughters of Pioneer Rivermen (S&D).
@cleannewyork Yep, that's it. We all learned it by listening and trying to imitate. That holds true for pretty much any calliopist. This particular song works really well played slower than here. Mine was a jazzier version of what Doc/Dad play. It's much more effective slow and sweet.
I want to learn how to play the first song, so nice! Is it called Avalon? Nice job man. :)

For posterity: the songs are "Avalon" (key of F), "Margie" (F to C to F), "G-A, G-A" (C), and "Beautiful Ohio" (C).
