This is my Landau 1254 Jon Boat after I modified it. I put a front casting deck, a floor in the middle, installed lights, and a fish finder. It's wider than most 12 ft Jon boats so it's very stable when I fish from the deck. I put a hatch in the deck for storage and my trolling motor battery, I normally run either my 1958 or 1962 Johnson 10 hp motors, but I also put on my 3 hp, 5.5 hp or 18 hp Johnsons depending on where I'm going. It took a little under 8 hours to do the modifications it was well worth it and it actually makes the boat ride smoother and quieter.
