Another haunting little song from Nick and the Bad Seeds. Was going to do the Little Ghost Song but as this one is almost identical except for the backing from Still in Love I just went with this.

  • Where's my star?

  • What a wonderful song. I love the piano and violin on it.

  • Yeah Warren Ellis is something else underneath all that hairycaveman look is an astonishingly sensitive looking, and very good looking guy - but you'd probably noticed already eh? ha ha ;)

Yes i absolutely love the compilation Nick Cave/Warren Ellis did on "The Assasssination Of Jesse James Soundtrack" Feagin amazing !!

  • This definitely is my favourite Cave song. Technically it's no great piece of music. It's simple and plain, not much going on, no elaborate arrangements or ingenious tricks. But who needs all that if we've got Nick Cave and Conway Savage singing a song about love and friendship. Beautifully torn apart by Warren Ellis' violin, this song tells the story of the heart. The way the voices play with the rhythm, the sensitivity fragility of the music... gently searching its way through life itself.
