  • What would be the best boost gauge for my 03 vw gti 20th anniversary? Please respond :p

  • @Nextionnn you can get an electronic boost gauge or one like mine. There all the same thing, as long as it tells you how much boost your running, its doing what its supposed to do.

  • Why's your airbag light on?

  • @JAREDB10 Igniter switch malfunction or something like that. I cleared it up though.

  • even though the cars are mass produced some work different then others. so ifs its just off by alittle then thats nothing but if it was off by like 5 or somethen there could be a problem. but if its just one then its just the quality of the car itself

  • I agree, also temperature could affect the ecu's requested boost pressure. Maybe, my boost gauge is off, that could be another explanation.

  • does this pod still allow you full range on the tilt and telescoping steering wheel?

  • 14-15psi is stock. Your guage should read around -20hg at idle. I am stage 2+ now and I peak at around 23psi. It's highly unlikely for the K03 to peak any higher than that, your guage may be off if it is.

  • mines about the same.... or when i let off the gas completely it goes a little bit below 20hg... my stock spikes are 12-15.

Only difference is mines a MKIV =)

  • Boost Gauges can be off slightly for a variety of reasons one that is typical especially on a higher boosting car is the cheap line from the gauge itself. not necesasrly a leak but a weak vacum hose that may be near higher heat can cause the line to flex or close up when creating vacumn or boost.. I had my lines too clost to the down pipe on my Grand National and caused gauge to misread constantly. the line was chocking off no leaks in the line just fatigue.. something to look at good luck
