As far as we know, the only footage shot of Pt Ravi Shankar's final pop concert performance ever, at Woodstock. Even the Pandit himself didn't know this existed when I met him in Delhi on Republic day 2009.

  • @bighock58 A damn good reason why if you mean AFTER this festival. Ravi saw Hendrix burn his guitar & make lewd movements with it too at Woodstock. This is the complete opposite of the Indian attitude to classical music & instruments. It was viewed as sacriligeous. Nick
