  • Is everything alright? You've not been on in a good while; I'm concerned. Is your dad okay? linda

  • Oh you are sweet! Thanks for asking. Everything is okay, except I have a terrible cold. My dad has the cold too, but other than that we are okay. :) I'll be back soon. Can't talk well right now. :)

  • Thanks for sharing. I have never been homeless in a city. That scares me though spent a lot of time camping in early 20's. The Green Tortoise is a nice hostel in Seattle.

  • oz! what are you doing awake at this hour?!? I KNOW you live in the pacific time zone! ahahahaha

  • I am so glad that you didn't jump. The world is brighter with you in it.

    Much love and hugs. :)

  • I'm glad you were stopped from jumping, Kristin. Otherwise we all wouldn't have met you. :)

  • I was homless once. I used to use herion. (been clean over 4yrs) I live in Baltimore and when I was at the worst of my using I had no where to go. I lived in abandoned houses for over a year. I mean a city abandoned row house. No water lights heat or air conditioning, all the windows boared up It was so bad. I will never let myself get like that again. But you know you would be surprised how you can make an abandoned house up to be semi confortable and a place to hide from the world for a while.

  • Hi Kristen,

Thanks for your reply. I'm relieved that all is well...well, except for "terrible colds." I've really enjoyed your videos and admire your overcoming spirit. It would be great if you could share more about "the" illness (don't want to call it "yours") and how you keep it in check from day to day. Thanks again for responding! Linda (P.S. My mom just got a pacemaker 2 weeks ago and I found comfort in knowing that your dad has one and is doing well.)

  • I love how you can look back and laugh at your past experiences, Kristin.

I'm not sure I would be able to do that. :)

Thank goodness you came home safe, that sounds really scary!

  • wow kristen you been through a lot. You know what I was thinking of, you should do a video of you interviewing your parents. I'd love to see your parents and hear their side of your story and how they delt with your mental illness. they could really help other parents who going through the same thing.

  • thank you for sharing your experiences with us. i know that it personally helps me to know im not alone in all this. best wishes.
