fuck, i'd say, is a bad word because the church took all that was in the "pagan" religions of the time, and declared them bad. ancient religions of that time saw fucking as something that was beautiful and natural, and the church turned it around and called it bad so that they could gain credibility. same with homosexuality, nakedness, etc, etc...

You would love French Canadian's swears.
We use religious words as swearing because the French Canadians got manipulated by the christian church and rebelled against the hold that religion had on them. They were coercing women into having as many babies as they could, making sure they did not use birth control, keeping us ignorant, etc.
We use terms like Christ pronounced Criss (Christ), Câlisse (Chalice), Tabarnac (Tabernacle), etc.
Our swears can be verbs, nouns or adjectives too!
