This is an original song I wrote a while back and videoed recently for my poor memory. I recently realized that I've been slowly forgetting the melodies to some of my songs... so I figured, "why not?" Couldn't hurt to have an archive, right?

Don't be sad, BG. The song is actually based on several different experiences of mine and others - luckily not a break up of mine.

When I wrote the song, it was a comment on the danger that apathy & lack of communication (until it's too late) poses to any relationship. Which is a pattern we can all too easily fall into over time.

We, instead, should look to the truth in our partners' eyes everyday--and show the truth in our own--before they eventually say what we don't want to hear...
