I like the original melody better.I have the cds of the original Sing Praises to Jehovah song book and the pianist plays something other then the notes on the page in the second and third verses of this song.I wonder if the organization entirely changed the melody because they couldn't rerecord the song the same way it was originally recorded.Just a hunch but who knows why they changed this song's melody.I'm sure some of the older ones weren't happy about losing this and other familiar tunes.
