AUSTERLITZ 2.12. 1805 - 2.12.2005 the largest napoleonic re-enactment ever seen ; 45 min. movie

5.000 reconstituants, venus du monde entier, s'étaient donnés rendez-vous à Austerlitz (République tchèque, aujourd'hui Slavkov, près de Brno) en ce 2 décembre 2005, pour commémorer le bicentenaire de la célèbre "bataille des 3 empereurs" (Napoléon 1er, le tsar Alexandre de Russie, et l'empereur François II d'Autriche). Ce film est le montage que j'ai réalisé de mes vidéos amateur sur place. La bande-son originale a dû être retravaillée par moments pour en retirer les éléments indésirables (interventions du commentateur uniquement en tchèque, passages de l'avion de la télévision, musiques d'ambiance souvent inappropriées, qui ont été parfois remplacées, etc.).

5000 reenactors from around the world gathered at Austerlitz (Czech Republic, now Slavkov near Brno) on December 2, 2005, to commemorate the bicentenary of the famous "battle of three emperors" (Napoleon, Tsar Alexander of Russia and Emperor Francis II of Austria).
