  • So do I, Doctor Plausible. He is extremely knowledgeable about the 15th century, in my opinion much more so than the historians who appeared for the Prosecution, one of whom has a definite Tudor bias (I am sure you know to whom I am referring).

  • @valentinejay

Not just one had such a bias, but one couldn't contain it even while speaking. Still, I am afraid the defense made weak choices with their first two witnesses and many questions. And why did the prosecution have so much more time and witnesses?

  • @mainsqueeze1977 As far as I can remember, Defence Counsel (Mr. Du Cann) was extremely pressed for time, as apparently he was very busy with cases in distant parts of the country when the Trial was made. He chose the name Dillon because it was a family name; the counsel for the prosecution decided to use his mother's naiden name of Russell. Both had very different approaches to the subject, but both were brilliant advocates.

  • Lady W. looks downright smug back there.

  • I think Mr Potter has clinched it.
